We really enjoyed our time in Maine. Coming from the heat of Georgia in the summer to the cool temperatures of Maine was quite a relief in late June. The surrounding area is great. The small communities were packed with great shops, food, golf courses and other attractions. While my wife and two daughters shopped, me and my two sons played golf most of the time. It was like playing with the air conditioning on. So nice. The best part was the house on the island. Fully supplied with everything you could need. And the best of all was the view of the water combined with the seclusion of the house. We will be back next year. By the way, the location is also perfect for a company retreat. An excellent place to open the mind.
What a great vacation spot! We loved our time at your house, and expect to return again and again. Everything was so peaceful and idyllic, and the views of the water from the house and yard just cannot be described: you have to experience it to really believe it. The biking, hiking and kayaking was wonderful, and your house had all the amenities that we needed. The kids loved building fairy houses and exploring the shoreline at low tide, and we felt perfectly safe hike around on their own. What a great retreat from our normally hectic lives.
Sometimes a family doesn't know how important a vacation can be until they find the right place. That is what Passage View was for our family. We have two young children and often find ourselves spending summer vacations with aunts, uncles and grand parents. While those trips no doubt have created wonderful memories for us Passage View offered something different. Peace and quiet far away from the stress of our daily lives and a respite from the heat of summer in the city. The family activities seemed never ending, whether it was fishing with my son, bike rides through the blue berry fields, reading on the hammock, lobster dinners, breakfast at Moody's or just plain relaxing in one of the most beautiful natural environments one can imagine. The house was amazing and fully stocked for a small family or a small army, it can handle all occasions with ease. We hope to return very soon and create more family memories in beautiful Waldoboro, ME.
